UCA Teacher Buried Today

Olive Hilliard, a UCA faculty member, is being buried today in her hometown. 

Hilliard, 52, died Feb. 24 in Conway. Her funeral is at 1 p.m. today in Texarkana. 

Hilliard had been on the staff here since 2003. She was teaching speech this semester in the Department of Speech and Public Relations. She also has taught in the Department of Writing. Both departments sent flowers to the funeral.

 Hilliard was a member of Delta Sigma Theta sorority. She is survived by two sons, five daughters, two grandchildren, three sisters and a brother
