Police Report: April 11

The following information was taken from incident reports at UCAPD. Incident reports are filed daily by officers to document and describe each call they answer during their shifts. These reports are made available by university police after they are approved by a supervisor. That process takes a day or two, which delays our report a day or two. This is a report of incidents filed for April 11.

  • Student Jay Prier, 40, reported at 6:37 p.m. that his Toyota Avalon was damaged while parked in the lot west of the Farris Center. There was a large dent and scratches on the front of the car and the bumper was knocked off. Police estimated the damage at $1,000.
  • Student La'tisha Green, 19, filed a harassment report at about 2:45 p.m. Green showed police text messages and discussed calls that she had received from a student she said wanted to fight her.
  • Students Caleb Credit, 18, and Jeffrey Trimble, 18, were confronted by police about 2:45 a.m. after a report that the two were arguing in State Hall. Credit said he had friends over for a party and someone threw up on Trimble's bed. The two were separated for the night and a housing report was taken by the RA.
  • Students Fallon Wahlstrom, 18, Joshua Jones, 19, and nonstudents Amanda Spradlin, 18, and Jordan Brady, 19, were contacted by police after a complaint about a possible alcohol violation in State Hall at about 1:15 a.m. When the officer entered the room, which belonged to Wahlstrom, the officer immediately noticed a half-gallon bottle of Malibu rum in the room. Brady and Spradlin were issued warnings for alcohol violations and banned from campus.  Judicial board citations were given to Jones and Wahlstrom.
  • Student Acie Hollins, 19, was issued a judicial board citation after police received an anonymous tip just after midnight that Hollins had alcohol in his Bear Village apartment. When the officer arrived, he saw about 30 people in the apartment, along with a black light, strobes, and several cans of Keystone Light sitting around the bar. Most of the people at the party were nonstudents.
