John Gale: UCA’s Newest Chairman
Over the past several months, UCA's Department of Mass Communication and Theatre has been looking for a new chairman. That search is over.
John Gale has been named the head of the department after serving as interim chairman for the last year. Gale competed with several other applicants from across the country. However, Dean Rollin Potter cited Gale's passion for the department and knowledge of the university's history and faculty when announcing Gale's hiring.

Gale said he is excited about developing the digital film and theater departments' national presence. He said he wants to make Channel Six's broadcasting work more prominent both on campus and across the state.
