I am Kathy Kelly and I have returned for my second degree at UCA. I earned my first degree in speech communications at UCA a long, long time ago. I am now majoring in online journalism. In my spare time, I am a certified personal trainer and part-time fitness center supervisor at Hendrix College. I am also a mother to one boy and two dogs. Every now and then I like to eat and sleep. I'm the girl that goes by her middle name instead of her first name but still answers to the latter. I live to write and write to live. You can see my words gracing a page on The Scroll, The Echo, the inspirational page of Sanders/Wingo Advertising's website, my seldom-updated Tumblr account and, of course, The Fountain. Staff writer for all, copy editor, an admitted Drake fanatic, obsessed with the color purple (not the movie, but the actual color) and a lover of all things original. Expect to see me on the pages of a magazine one day. I won't be the girl in the photograph, but I will be the girl making the pictures come to life with my thousands of words.
