Who's running this school - Meadors or his wife? Our school colors are purple - if they are so tweaked about that then leave. This is not a monarchy with King and Queen Meadors. What a joke, and also what a waste of money.

President Meadors, get control of your wife, before she makes you lose your job. My yearly donation won't be sent in this year. I'm afraid of it being wasted on garbage like this instead of being put to the good of the school and students.

Folks, I'm from UNCP, Meador's old school. He and his wife are a one trick pony. They spent hundreds of thousands of dollars in tearing up perfectly good concrete sidewalks here to put down the stamped brick. It is not better than brick pavers. It requires recoating and repainting every three or four years - ask the UNCP faclities people.

When the Meadors came here they didn't like our colors of gold and black and wanted to change them, but we stood steady and they failed. They (especially his wife) rule by force and dictatorial rule. Thats really funny about the purple color comment. Purple is the color of kings end emperors and both of them acted as such while at UNCP. I would think they would love purple.

If you don't watch out, you will be spending all your money on new athletic equipment and uniforms, renovations to his house, and her projects, sidewalks, plant beds that are torn up four or five times a year, new signage, and other aesthetics projects.

Sorry you are saddled with someone like this. Good luck and hold onto your wallets.

Well gang, something similar to this actually happened in the 1930s. For a very short period of time, UCA, then Arkansas State Teachers College, used red in the football uniforms as the primary color instead of purple. However, that did not last and we went back to purple. Not sure why it was done, but it did happen.

This is not an April Fool's Day joke either.

Sincerely,
Jimmy Bryant, CA
Director of UCA Archives

You don't know how close this could be to being true. His wife tells anyone who will listen how she HATES PURPLE.

Hello! This is purple country. Learn to love it!
