As Graduation Approaches…

It's time to start making plans for that graduation you've worked for so hard.

The Alumni Services office is hosting "Grad Central" from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. tomorrow in the UCA Bookstore. The event consolidates all products and services needed for graduation into a single location.

The things you can take care of there include:

• Order your cap and gown
• Have a photo taken in a cap and gown
• Order graduation announcements
• Buy a class ring
• Find a frame for your diploma
• Buy a Senior Brick

Other related services include information about career opportunities and insurance options. If your plans include graduate school, there is information about programs at different schools and preparation material for graduate school entrance exams.

For the first time this year, graduating seniors can buy their first-year's membership in the UCA Alumni Association with their cap and gown. It will cost you an extra $10, though. Benefits include:

• Voting privileges in Alumni Association Board of Directors elections
• 40% discount on non-credit UCA Continuing Education courses
• 10% discount on merchandise from the UCA Bookstore
• Discount on UCA Public Appearances season ticket package
• Torreyson Library Fee Waiver ($50 value)
