The Homecoming Court is set for this weekend's football game. The queen will be announced at 1:30 p.m. Saturday on the field of Estes Stadium before the 2 p.m. game against Southeastern Louisiana University.
The winners were announced during the Homecoming pep rally last night by Kel Brooks, last year's Homecoming queen. The Bear Den hosted the rally.
The winners are their sponsors are:
- Portia Cheatham- Keep A Child Alive
- Elise Hampton- NAACP
- Hillary Nichols- Delta Zeta, The Bear Den

The Bear Den also sponsored a money scramble and a paper airplane game. The money scramble consisted of two students who were blindfolded and placed in the middle of the gym floor. Money was spread across the court and they tried to find as much of it as possible.
The crowd favorite was the paper airplane game. Every person who attended the pep rally was given a piece of paper to make into an airplane. Prompted by the announcers, Amir Rostampour and Craig Cole, everybody in the crowd threw their airplane at prizes laid out on the gym floor. The closest airplane to each prize won that prize. The prizes included baskets of movies, iPod Shuffles, Slim Chicken gift cards, tanning gift cards, a diamond necklace, and a flat screen TV.
After the games, the Honeybear Dance Team gave the crowd a preview of the dance they will be performing at the UDA National Competition in January.
